Also known as the Indian Rose, Nematicid tagets offer a natural method to fight nematodes. The roots of tagetes secrete a substance that prevents the development of nematodes.
In combination with tomatoes (2 Tagus for 6 tomato plants) they protect them from the aggression of these pests.
They can also be grown as green manure. In this case, it must be planted on the fly on the plot you want to improve, and once the plant is sufficiently developed (be careful not to let it be seeded!) just mow it and bury it on the ground with a spade or a motorbike.
This addition of fresh matter will enrich and fertilize the soil while bringing back to the surface some of the elements that the deep roots of the plant will have been drawn deep (nitrogen, phosphate, etc.) and will favor the following crops.
Ideal for open field cultivation, beautiful vegetation (high foliage about 80 cm). Suitable for all types of soil. Sow in April/May. Bury before the seed climb.
