  • Details
Azur Star Kohlrabi Seeds (Brassica oleracea var. gongylodes) 1 gram approx. 150 seeds

Azur Star kohlrabi is a very early variety, suitable for all seasons, with a tender, slightly oval, dark blue head. It stores well.

The plump, soft, and tender balls are ready to eat when they reach the size of a hen's egg. The flesh is fine, of excellent quality, with a light hazelnut aroma.
For soups, stews, as fries or raw, grated in vinaigrette.

Sowing: sow thinly in nurseries from March to June. Transplant into rows 40 cm apart, spaced 30 cm apart within the row, in a sunny location. Harvest from June to September.

Open-pollinated seeds harvested exclusively from the Pot'à'Jo garden, a 1500m² market garden combining horticulture and permaculture. Everything is cultivated there with deep respect for nature and its inhabitants. I have been cultivating my own seeds, from seed to seed, for years.
