Balbis Nightshade Seeds (Solanum sisymbrifolium) 25 seeds

This unusual plant, covered in thorns, can reach 1 m in height. Its white flowers give rise to clusters of fruit wrapped in a burr. Its sweet and tangy fruits have a lychee-like taste. They can be eaten cooked or made into jam.

Sowing: in trays of good seed compost, in April at 20°.
Transplant into peat pots as soon as the plant has formed 2 leaves. Keep the temperature at around 20°.
At the end of May or beginning of June, transplant in a good location, in enriched and loosened soil.
Avoid growing near eggplants and potatoes.
    Harvest mid-September.

Reproducible seeds harvested exclusively in the Pot'à'Jo garden, a 1500m² horticultural and permaculture market garden. Everything is grown with a deep respect for nature and its inhabitants. I have been growing my own seeds for years, from seed to seed.
