    Batavia Lettuce Seeds "Ice Queen" (Lactuca sativa var.capitata) 1 gram = approx. 1000 seeds

    Batavia Reine des Glaces lettuce produces a compact head with tender, very crunchy green leaves. Very sensitive to heat.

    Medium-sized, compact, bright green apples, tightly closed. Deeply cut, thick, crisp and refreshing leaves. Uniform ripening. Good resistance to bolting. For harvest from late spring to autumn. A variety much appreciated by gardeners.

    An essential vegetable, rich in vitamins, potassium, magnesium, with remineralizing, refreshing properties, essential for a healthy and balanced diet.

    Spring Headed Lettuces
    Sowing: light in February or March in a nursery or under cover. Transplant when the plants have a few leaves, in a sunny position in fertile, humus-rich and fresh soil at a depth of 20 cm in all directions. Harvest approximately 2 months after sowing.
