The Leviathan Scorpion is an extreme pepper that comes from an unknown cross with a "Scorpion Kraken" (Bhut Jolokia x Triniad Scorpion Chocolat). There are currently several variations of this one, but the one offered here is particularly long and slender. The fruits of the Leviathan Scorpion tend to be long and fairly straight with a wrinkled texture and become caramel colored when ripe.
In the mouth, its strength is brutal (+1,000,000 scovilles) like any extreme pepper but its flavor is fine and not fruity like that of Bhut jolokia. Like its ancestor, its production is generous and the plants with dark foliage and purple flowers are particularly beautiful but also very resistant to diseases.
Seed germination can be capricious if the temperatures are not optimal (+15°C night and +20°C day), in addition the fruits are quite late.
ATTENTION: do not forget to wear gloves even for sowing, it is especially the seeds which have the highest rate of scovilles.
Reproducible seeds harvested exclusively in the Pot'à'Jo garden, a horticultural and permaculture market garden of 1500m². Everything is cultivated there with deep respect for nature and their inhabitants. I have been growing my own seeds from seed to seed for years. -
