The Burkina Yellow chili pepper produces small, wrinkled peppers, 4 to 5 cm long, with a beautiful canary yellow color. It is a hot pepper in the Scotch Bonnet family. This chili pepper, like other varieties, grows very well in pots. As its name suggests, the Burkina Yellow chili pepper originates from Burkina Faso. It has a typical Habanero flavor with a savory, meaty flesh with fruity notes and a heat level of around 100,000 to 325,000 on the Scoville scale. This chili pepper is ideal for spicing up sauces, stews, casseroles, marinades, and salsas. Its intense heat adds a spicy dimension to dishes and brings a touch of heat to many recipes.
The plant can grow to 1 meter tall in open ground, 50/60 cm in a pot, and produce about twenty chili peppers.
Open-pollinated seeds harvested exclusively from the Pot'à'Jo garden, a 1500m² market garden combining horticulture and permaculture. Everything is cultivated there with deep respect for nature and its inhabitants. I have been cultivating my own seeds, from seed to seed, for years. -
