Aji Pineapple is a chili pepper with a mild pineapple flavor and is very productive. Its heat level is around 30,000 Scoville Heat Units. It is excellent in powder form, in salsas, in relish, and also great in soups and with white meats.
Growing to over 1 meter tall, with incredible productivity, Aji Pineapple peppers ripen from green to deep orange-yellow. A medium-sized yellow pepper is about 10 cm long, but can reach 18 cm.
Open-pollinated seeds harvested exclusively from the Pot'à'Jo garden, a 1500m² market garden combining horticulture and permaculture. Everything is cultivated there with deep respect for nature and its inhabitants. I have been cultivating my own seeds, from seed to seed, for years. -
