    Rocoto Costa Rica Orange Pepper Seeds (Capsicum pubescens) 20 seeds

    This species of pepper is distinguished by its hairy foliage, purple flowers and black-seeded fruits. In addition, the rocoto is a perennial plant that can tolerate frost down to -5 C and can live up to 15 years. Its fruits are orange-yellow or red, measure 6-7 cm in length, have smooth and shiny skin and have a thick and juicy flesh that gives off a very strong flavor. With a heat of around 100,000 scoville.
