The yellow Carolina Reaper is simply a variation of the most sought-after chili pepper among chili aficionados. Ranked in 2013 as the hottest chili pepper in the world, it was later dethroned by Dragon Breath and then Pepper X. The Carolina Reaper is still a pepper that flirts with the 2,000,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU) threshold. It's a very productive, tall vine of a yellow, curly chili pepper with its famous curved tip reminiscent of the Grim Reaper.
Open-pollinated seeds harvested exclusively from the Pot'à'Jo garden, a 1500m² market garden combining horticulture and permaculture. Everything is cultivated there with deep respect for nature and its inhabitants. I have been cultivating my own seeds, from seed to seed, for years. -
