A variety originating from the Bahamas, its deliciously sweet flavor and heat are similar to those of the habanero. The pods are round and slightly flattened with vertical ridges along the sides. The pods start dark green and ripen to a peach/orange color. These two characteristics make it resemble a miniature pumpkin. This chili pepper is very productive. The Bahamian Goat ranges from 250,000 to 350,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU).
Bushy plant as tall as it is wide, +/- 1 meter, with excellent productivity, as a rule, the Bahamian Goat measures 4 to 6 centimeters in width and 4 to 5.5 centimeters in length.
Open-pollinated seeds harvested exclusively from the Pot'à'Jo garden, a 1500m² market garden combining horticulture and permaculture. Everything is cultivated there with deep respect for nature and its inhabitants. I have been cultivating my own seeds, from seed to seed, for years. -
